What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, where it goes and how long we keep it.
Privacy notice in full
LAST UPDATED 25 AUGUST 2026
Who we are
Capital Growth Consulting Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 12400652.
If you have a question about this notice, or about the personal data we hold, email [email protected].
What we collect
The only personal data this website collects is what you type into the contact form:
- Your first name and last name
- Your email address
- Whatever you write in the message box
We ask for nothing else. There is no account to create, no newsletter sign-up and no tracking of what you look at.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to discuss whether we can help. That is the only purpose.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form before you send it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and we will delete what we hold.
Where it goes
The form is handled by our own software running on our web hosting, not by a third-party form service. Your submission is checked, then emailed straight to our business inbox using our own email account. It is not stored in any database, and no third-party form provider ever sees it.
Two suppliers are necessarily involved in carrying it: DigitalOcean, who host the website and run that software, and our email provider, who deliver and store the resulting email. Both act on our instructions and do not use your data for their own purposes.
Once the message reaches us it sits in our business email. We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone else except where the law requires it.
Records kept to prevent abuse
To stop automated spam, our software briefly notes the network address (IP address) a submission came from, so that a single source cannot flood the form. This is held only in memory, for a matter of minutes, and is never written to disk or linked to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to work together, we delete it within 12 months.
If it does, your details become part of the client record and are kept for six years after the engagement ends, which is the period we need for tax and contractual purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We do not know who visits, and nothing about your visit is recorded or tracked.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers. That request includes your IP address, as any web request does. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests to create profiles of individuals or serve advertising.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Receive your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. This notice applies to capitalgrowthconsulting.co.uk only, not to any site we link to.
